My ME time

Strange as it may seem. I am one of those people who need some time to myself to recharge. Stress from work and family can really take its toll if one is continually exposed to it. Some R & R is always a welcome change.

I love my work.

Its been almost a year since I posted something on this blog. A lot has happened since then. I got a new car. I traveled to places I thought I would never get the opportunity to visit again. I am able to pay the bills and I get to spend REAL QUALITY TIME with my family! As a bonus, I also got to meet some really cool and great friends.

There are so many things I am thankful for and all of this would not be possible without the beauty of online work.

I am now on my second year of being a home-based technical worker. I am looking forward to being in this industry for years to come.

I think the secret to being successful in working online is to enjoy the work and find new and better ways to break the monotony. You have a job, you know what your client wants, and you have to "wow" your customer.

It is oftentimes easier said and done but in the end, its all that matters. Clients come to you for your expertise. If they are not happy, then you limit yourself by losing a customer.

This is the 2011 picture of my daughter hugging her gifts. She is the  reason why I do what I do. I work at home now and spend as much time as I can with my family. It's not as glamorous as the position I left before but the reward of seeing my daughter literally growing up before my eyes is priceless!
